Patient

A few years ago I visited Dr. Shapiro because I frequently experienced sinus infections and he suggested a balloon sinuplasty. I don't think I've experienced a single sinus infection since I had the procedure. I've told friends that it was the best surgery I've had, which makes them laugh, but it really did improve my quality of life. Dr. Shapiro did a great job and provided kind and conscientious treatment. I would definitely return to Dr. Shapiro for any ENT issues in the future.

DR Shapiro is highly intelligent and his bedside manner made it easy for me to feel comfortable asking questions. He is also very open minded, has a quest for learning and his office is very modern. Highly recommend!

Patient

My previous ENT was not very good. Over a three year period I had 2 surgeries to open up my sinuses in order to deal with chronic sinus infections and problems breathing through my nose. I came to see Dr. Shapiro because he worked with my mother before. Dr. Shapiro did an in office procedure and I feel like a new man. I forgot what it was like to be able to breathe deep through my nose. I highly recommend him.

Patient

Dr. Shapiro was called in by Condell Hospital after my mother had a life-threatening event. It took him 24 hours to get to her, and he offered no apology for the delay. His evaluation was very quick and superficial, and his bedside manner is arrogant and unwelcoming.

Patient

Cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Shapiro's professionalism and patient care. Not only is he competent and efficient, but his thorough explanations of all topics discussed were accurate and helpful in understanding my multiple issues. And the procedures he performed were described perfectly and completed as expected and explained. His sense of humor put me completely at ease with the conditions and treatments.

I went to 4 different doctors that weren't even willing to fix my nose. After going through surgery with Dr. Shapiro I can finally breathe! This was BY FAR the best experience with a straightforward doctor that is confident in his skills. Thank you Dr. Shapiro!

Patient

I've never had a major surgery before. I was nervous for my Stenoplasty. Dr. Shapiro made me feel so incredibly comfortable and not just as a patient. Very personable, relatable and funny! After my surgery, I was able to contact Dr. Shapiro with questions I had. Promt responses. I've already recommended friends to him for their sinus issues. All around great Dr!

Patient

My first exam with Dr. Shapiro was total blockage of one nostril & severely inflamed sinuses. He addressed the inflammation immediately. Before talk of a blockage procedure, he required an MRI to see exactly what was going on. Dr. Shapiro performed a balloon sinuplasty procedure. I knew what to expect before, during and after the procedure. The staff was amazing, professional and recovery was fast. This was the most positive medical experience I've ever had. I can BREATHE!

Patient

He is rude and unprofessional. He also made a hole in my sinuses and didn't fix my septum.
