Patient

Dr. Pfennig was willing to help me with my situation. He explained everything thoroughly, listened to my questions and then answered them. I understood what I was getting into for the surgery on the inside of my nose. His skill level was great. Recovery time was surprising short. I highly recommend him and his staff.

My children have been seeing Dr. Pfennig for a few years now, and he has always taken the time to listen to my concerns and he explains things in a way that it is easy for me to understand. I never felt rushed or that he was in a hurry to get through my visit. His staff is always very friendly, and I have always felt comfortable at the office. I would recommend Dr. Pfennig to my family and friends any day of the week!! He's the best!

So I had a septo-rhinoplasty done here in 2017. By Dr. Phenning. Its possibly one of the worst decisions I ever made. I asked him to make my nose slightly smaller and he hardly even made a differance. 3 months post op I started having Nasel cartilage make cracking sounds in my nose every time I excercise or bend over a certain way. I still have breathing problems occasionally. Honestly I just got the vibe he only cared about getting paid... Seriously wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Patient

I wish I could give him ZERO stars. This place NEVER listened to me about my concerns about my daughter. Ignored me when I thought she had a hearing problem and a submucous cleft palate. Put my daughter through an unnecessary adenoidectomy and tube placement. Finally changed ENTs and my daughter was diagnosed with unilateral deafness and a submucous cleft in the first appointment. Now because they took my daughter's adenoids out with the submucous cleft, she had a permanently nasal voice.

Patient

Awful!!! Rushes into a surgery and the surgery didn't even correct the problem. It actually made it worse! And at the follow up he made me feel like I was wrong. Well, a second and third opinion both said he was wrong. Absolutely save your time and go somewhere else.

1 Jenison, MI – Dec 05, 2017

Patient

Very dismissive of my concerns, Totally unhelpful and rude. I would never see him again.

1 1 Allendale, MI – Apr 10, 2017

Patient

Was pushed into a septoplasty by his office, told it'd alleviate my symptoms. 8 weeks later I still have pain, pressure, and bleeding from the supposedly healed side where he made the incision, and am still as congested as ever. At my 8 week checkup, he told me my symptoms weren't normal so long after surgery but "my nose looks great" so he couldn't do anything else. I feel worse than ever and Pfennig has been useless. Avoid him like the plague, don't let him talk you into surgery.

Patient

Dr. Pfennig was professional, personable, and caring about our child's discomfort he was experiencing for the last 7 months due to numerous ear infections. He was more than accommodating in getting our child in promptly, where as other providers we had at least a 3 week wait. Dr. Pfennig put our child before himself and had his surgery done within a week despite it being spring break. We are extremely grateful that he was so caring and intuitive to our family's needs. Highly recommend.
